1. About the JANUARY NINTH General Membership Meeting

VICUG NYC's next General Membership Meeting will be held in the
Auditorium of Selis Manor on Tuesday, January Ninth, from 6:30 to 8 PM.
The January Ninth meeting will feature a demonstration of two of
Freedom Scientific's flagship products: the screen-reader, JAWS for
Windows (JFW), and the screen-magnification program MAGic by Bill
Kilroy. Are you a JFW or MAGic user who is wondering whether to
update? Are you someone who has already updated but has questions
about new features? Are you shopping for your first screen reader or
screen magnification program? If you answered "yes" to any of these
questions, then be sure to be at the January Ninth meeting, and be
sure to bring a friend!

Membership dues for 2001 will be collected at the January Ninth
meeting. Dues are a mere twelve dollars, and endow you with the right
to hold office, the right to vote, and a clear conscience. If you plan
on paying in cash, please bring exact change!

And, don't forget--you can always find out what's on the horizon,
as well as learn from past presentations from the "Schedules,
Meetings, & Minutes" page, located at:
