today, Monday, June 11, between 4 and 5 p.m., the news program "CBS 2
First News at 4" will feature an interview with long-time VICUG NYC member
Fernando Botelho, who will speaking about the eSight.org project and
technology for people with disabilities...  for those of you within range
of NYC's broadcast stations, CBS is channel 2 - some outlying cable
companies may carry WCBS NY, which calls itself "News Channel 2" and which
has a web site located at: http://www.cbs2ny.com/

and, for those who don't know, the eSight Careers Network is an initiative
of The Associated Blind (TAB), a privately funded non-profit agency,
founded in 1938 to promote autonomy and self-determination for the blind
and visually impaired through economic independence...  the eSight Careers
network's online presence is located at:

there you will find a vibrant virtual community comprised of your peers,
experts in the fields of technology and employment, and special guests of
every stripe...  locally, the eSight Careers Network, in association with
Adaptive Solutions for Independence, both initiatives of The Associated
Blind, sponsor monthly career networking seminars at TAB's "new" offices,
on the ninth floor of 110 William Street, between Fulton and John
