Hi,

The pops are triggered by the java scripts that come as a plug-in to your
browser. However, if you turn off the java scripts, you would have trouble
using "forms" and other bonafide users of the scripts. Whenever you
encounter pop-ads, just press control-W and the ads should, generally,
disappear.
