  All of the SCSI controllers I've worked with identify themselves on-screen
during the boot process.  Some offer access to built-in configuration and
diagnostic utilities at that point; others may need software from a DOS boot
floppy or perhaps adjustment of jumpers.

  Can you identify the specific controller cards/chipsets and drive models?
