        I'm kind of confused here: does thae hard drive work? If so then you
shouldn't be worried about drivers for the IDE controllers, they are already
there. The CDROM you speak of is NOT an IDE device and is not connected to
the IDE controller, it has a seperate interface. This type of CDROM will not
be picked up by the BIOS. Windows has drivers for this type of CDROM built
in the oldest versions of Windows, look under the add new hardware control
panel applet, select CDROMs and select Mitsumi, select the correct one. Hope
