I had the same problem with my Graphics Blaster Video card and
after trying to fix the problem, I gave up and called tech
support and the had a easy fix........Why didn't I think of it? I
was too close to the problem.

Start you computer in the safe mode. Change your settings to you
liking and reboot the machine.

I'm sure this will work for you. In the safe mode, all things are
equal. Well, that's what they tell me.
