Hi Everyone. I just joined the list last night. I have been on the big
lowcarb list before; Imay join that again, too. I am just starting the
Neaderthin way of life. I KNOW from all my experience, both personal
and professional, that low carb is the only way for me. And I believe
it to be the way for any one who has similar problems to me. I have
been addicted to food, carbs and have been overweight all my life. And
the only thing that takes the cravings away is low carb. I chose
Neanderthin this time because I have tried Atkins, it gets boring. I
have tried CAD, but that reward meal kills me, because I turn it into a
big sugarfest, I have tried protein power, which wasn't bad. But, my
other issue is that I have chronic epstein-barr virus and my immune
system is weakened by the virus. I am building up my immune system with
vitamin and herbal supplements, but I know that when I eliminate the
carbs and the dairy, I feel better; I don't have the muscle and joint
pain, I sleep better, my gastrointestinal symptoms disappear, and I
wouldn't be surprised is my immune system strengthens.

So, I embark on this journey. I am a Ph.D. in Holistic Health Sciences
and a doctoral candidate in Holistic Nutrition. I have worked with
eating disorders and addictive disease for over 10 years and the food
program I recommend to my clients today is very similar to Neanderthin.
I look forward to all the knowledge and support from all of you that I
know is out there.

Thanks for listening.
