In keeping with the guidelines I just received, here is my introduction:

I'm a student massage therapist in Seattle, Washington. Your typical
hippy-type; I wear cotton clothes, play guitar, burn incense and have a
pseudo-vegetarian (gasp!) past. I've always been interested in nutrition
and health, even more so now that I'm doing bodywork. I've also had my
share of chronic maladies that traditional medicine seems unable to help
me alleviate, which adds to my interest.

I just discovered this diet and idea, from a post on a nutritional usenet
group. I asked my husband if he'd heard of it, and he said, "Oh yeah!
It's really interesting. I read about it somewhere...." I found many web
pages, read for about an hour, and decided to join this list to get more
information on what it's like living day to day within these diet
guidelines. I'm extremely interested in attempting this (although I can
feel my carbo-addicted body crying out at just the thought.) I'll also be
trying to pick up a copy of "A Caveman's Guide to Nutrition" soon.
