Just happen to have some in the frig... On the ingredient listing for
refrigerated Coffee-Mate, the 4th ingredient listed is "SODIUM CASEINATE
(A MILK DERIVATIVE)**".   And goes on to clarify "**Not a source of
lactose".

So I think the answer to your question is pretty clear.  No, coffee mate does
not have casein "hidden" in it... it is just plain there.

I'm a bit confused how one could be avoiding casein without reading
ingredient labels.
