Shelly, I wonder if you're adding to your normal fear by being afraid of
the fear itself. I wonder what would happen if, when you feel the fear,
you just said to yourself, "Yeah, I'm feeling fear, and that's normal." My
88-year-old aunt loves Robert Schuller's Hour Of Power, so every Sunday my
husband and I tape it for her and bring it over so she can watch it,
because she isn't able to work the TV anymore. Anyway, their special guest
this week was a lady who used to suffer from panic attacks, and has since
learned to deal with them, and can now say, when she's feeling anxious,
"Yes I'm anxious; so what?" She mentioned a few of the things that help
people deal with fear and anxiety, and she's written a book about it. I
can't remember her or the book's name, but the Hour Of Power website
usually has audio of their programs and guests, so if you go to

http://www.hourofpower.org

and look around, perhaps you can find it.
