Concerning the new drug: ZETIA - I am wondering what kind of impact this cholesterol lowering drug would have on a celiac patient.
I would love any input from any member about the safety of taking this drug.
It would seem to me that any further depletion to the digestive system of the celiac patient would be a problem for the celiac who has a problem absorbing the nutrients needed as it is! I realize it is a drug blocking cholesterol from getting through to the liver but what else is it blocking?
Has anyone taken it?

Please respond

Thanks
Marsha Beers
