Just checking to see what other doctors have passed on to other Celiac
Patients.
My Gastroenterologist says my blood work shows a "4" in the gluten range.
I don't know if this is really bad or not, but the villa are still just a
little on the flattening side. I have been gluten free since April of
2004. I saw a dietician yesterday, and she suggested I get ALL makeup,
lipstick, lotions, moisturizers, face cream, hair shampoos, hair
conditioners, ladies' shaving cream gluten free as well--to see if this
makes a difference!! This is NOT an easy step to take, as it will take a
lot of research on my part. Have any of you done this? Oh, I left off the
hair coloring, too, and the conditioner the beautician uses on me--that
will have to be checked, too. Is this necessary?!? Everything I put into
my mouth, eating or drinking, says gluten free. So, does gluten go through
the skin via lotions, etc???? Any suggestions would be appreciated, as I
am so careful on what I eat. I am having no symptoms at all, but the blood
work shows something, as well as the villa. HELP!!!!!!!
