While we are on the issue of consumer products that cause RFI, I want to tell you all about an issue I had a few years ago.

One day I noticed some RFI that covered from the AM broadcast band up through about 30Mhz. This seemed to all of a sudden start. Nothing had changed in my home or did we bring any new item into the home. After a little searching, I tracked it down to a power supply in a desktop computer. That computer had been here for years and was turned on most of the time. I went out to the local computer parts store, and traded $39.00 for a new power supply. After about ten minutes, I had the new power supply installed and all is good and has been that way since.
