I believe it was me who "believes" the English brand Callard and Bowsers
licorice toffees are   GF
I remember something about this on this list a year or two ago.  I cannot
vouch for the information - only suggest it may be worth checking for those
going through cold turkey.
I have not been able to find Callard and Bowsers licorice here (in
Australia), although we have plenty of their other products.
