On 5/16, there was a post called "Summary
On Lactose Intolerance". In it, there
was mention of Lactaid not being GF.

I had been using Lactaid since I found that
milk and, in particular, yogurt helped me.
Part is due to calcium, another is due simply
to feeling better when I eat yogurt.

However, the Lactaid seemed to be losing it's
effect and I was having more and more lactose
intolerance-type effects. When I saw the
post, I immediately stopped using Lactaid and
eating dairy. The problems stopped and I
actually saw a general overall improvement.

As an experiment, I tried milk and cereal
one time and yogurt another. To my very
welcome surprise, there were no lactose
     intolerance-type aftereffects. Apparently,

        - Lactaid is not GF.

        - lactose intolerance, at least in my case,
          was not irreversible.

Many thanks to the poster of that summary and
     to this list.
