I'm surprised that the video claims the product will be available next month. I usually find these types of videos a waste of time. The sighted media get all excited about new technology which is supposed to benefit us, and they don't realize how hard it is to bring any new products to the market. I also find articles from mainstream media fairly inaccurate when they talk about new technologies, and talk about how we use the current technologies we have. If any sighted person wants to know what we need, then they should ask us before writing their articles, and then make sure they check out their facts.
I'm about as likely to believe that a new product is in the works as I would be if someone offered me land where there would be oil deposits which would make me unbelievably rich. I hope there are some new developments, but as the old saying goes, 'show me the money.'

Ana,

I believe you're correct in that this device is likely running under Android. The voice is not one which I recognize as being available for iOS. Also, I believe I heard a prompt which said "double tap and hold for long press" or words to that effect, which I believe is an Android convention.
