I am trying to edit a document, and am running into all kinds of issues.
I am using NVDA with a windows 10 laptop.
If I use Firefox, the Google screenreader shortcut commands don't work. If I can open the spreadsheet in Chrome, screenreader shortcut commands do work. NVDA will announce the active tab, and read everything as I navigate the spreadsheet.
If I use Chrome, I run into issues with Chrome. I usually can't open the spreadsheet in a reglar Chrome browser window. The browser just hangs so I have to use an incognito window. sometimes that doesn't work either. I end up logging out of my ,google account and logging in again. Sometimes I get lucky and everything works. Otherwise, I have to keep refreshing the browser, and log in and hope that opens the spreadsheet. I have screenreader and Braille support enabled.
I have looked all over the Internet and on the Google help page, but haven't found any useful information. When I contact Google technical support, they give me a vague answer. I could really use some help.
Thanks,
Dan
