Wes:

Yikes, Wes, "well over a year"! Well, I guess there is no reason for you,
in your vast experience, to consider any information from folks here who
have combined raw experience of _decades_, eh?

>Is it hard for you (and others on this list) to accept the fact that I
>personally feel better eating all raw?

Who has implied this? Felling better all raw isn't uncommon at all.

>Believe me, I've experimented. 0,
>10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 95% raw... Lightly cooked,
>thoroughly cooked, overly cooked, burnt, charred, different
>combinations, et cetera, et cetera ... My body ultimately told me "no
>more cooked". It's that simple. I'll listen to my own body and intuition
>before I'll ever listen to others' "advice" or theories, or "proofs".

Then why participate in this list if you care for no information other than
your body's intuition? You sure seem to advance a heap of theory, advice,
and "proofs" in your posts. Your experience is your experience, but if you
don't keep in mind that everyone else has not shared your experience--and
respect that they are not "wrong" for their experience if it differs with
yours--you're gonna end up locking horns to a degree. Which may be exactly
what you are after anyway--who knows?

>That can always change of course, as all things in the universe,
>including us, are in a continual state of change. So, even if I were to
>say this is set in stone, it wouldn't mean a whole lot, since even stone
>changes.

That's the spirit!

>But I have no plans on eating any cooked, regardless of what
>http://www.beyondveg.com says, scientifically, anecdotal, or otherwise.

>Next thing you know, we'll have science attempting to justify pizzas,
>hamburgers, ice cream, etc... Actually, believe it or not, I saw
>something a couple years back that tried to justify pizzas, and also tv
>dinners, as being "healthful"! I'm not kidding. I wish I had the
>articles...Two different ones.

I'm not sure what your point is, but the articles presently available on
the beyondveg web site have very little to do with the two you mention
above. Your leaps of "logic" are easy to excuse on an excess of youth, but
do hamper anyone trying to take you seriously.

>And if Kirt thinks that what I've found for myself, to be "idealist",
>and "wearing blinders" then so be it! That's great! Kind of an arrogant
>thing for someone else to say about me though, to be honest.

We'll compare notes in, say, another 10 years and see how it sounds to you
then, eh? ;)

Cheers,
Kirt
