I'm afraid I don't understand the logic in this advice, Mark.  That value is
60 seconds for me -- quite enough time to establish a connection, which
requires about 7-8 seconds with my ISP.  And the handshake fails within
the first two seconds, as is evidenced by the erroneous change in pitch
at that time.  So I don't understand how changing my value to, say, 75
seconds would help me.  I'm not saying you are wrong, mind you, just
asking for some clarification.
