Gary,
My own personal experience is that you do have to take that with a grain of
salt.

My husband and I are both type 'A'. However, my Dad is type O, and I
definitely have the same metabolic imbalances that he does. On the other
hand, Kevin (my hubby) can eat just about anything he wants and won't gain
much weight. He's been on my diet while he's at home-- eats what he wants
to when he's at work-- and has lost 10 lbs., but he only needed to lose
about 10 lbs anyway to get within desirable weight range for his height.
And it only took him a month to lose that 10 lbs., too. So we have very
different metabolisms, even though we have the same blood type.
