I didn't recall that, Kathy, but looked both of them up.  Proverbs 3:11-12
in the Tanakh  and Hebrews 12: 5-6 in my interlinear new testament.  I
found it interesting that the interlinear placed quotes around "My sons,
etc."  and the KJV does not.  Not that it matters, except the quotes
indicate that the writer of Hebrews is quoting Proverbs.
