Thanks Kendall - I enjoyed the site and am saving it for future reference. Never can tell - with Amber's father in Iraq and rapidly aging and falling apart parents ( my natural father already gets around on a scooter the VA provides)- and the surgery didn't take on my knee - so it needs to be done again - one never knows when oone needs such info.

Kat, Trisha Meir, et al.,

For those interested, here's a page from Don Krebs' Access to
Recreation online catalog that shows beach and other "off-road"
wheelchairs.

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.
