Since these spooky stories are happening late at night when all good
preservationeers should be at home (ignoring the mountains of work due
last week, month or year), did you ever stop to consider whether these
messages from the great beyond were meant to tell you, "Just knock it
off for the night!  Enjoy your life now or else you'll be scaring the
barf out of future do-gooders."

Given the tenacity of most people working in this field, extreme
measures may be required by restless spirits to slience work sounds and
tuck these old places in for the night.
