Kent, I am running Windows 7 os here on this HP laptop and am using Outlook
2007 and it works fine. One good thing about Outlook is that it comes with
the Microsoft suite of programs, and they share common commands to some
extent. So, if you are currently using Outlook and you like it and are
familiar with it, I recommend you just stay with that program. This business
of having to learn new programs and a ton of new commands used to be fun
when I first got into using computers back in the 1980's, but that fun
disappeared several years ago! <lol>

No erroneous characters.

I'm running Outlook on Windows XP SP3. I'm soon to be switching to Windows7
but don't know what will work well with that OS.

Subject: Testing Eudora now. LOL

Well Folks:

I'm now testing Eudora 7.1 to see if this is better.
I've got it set to plain txt but don't think it will make a diff.
If this don't work, will give up email on my ham netbook.

PS
What's the consenses email program used on this list and with what windows
version?
I'm running XP SP-3 on the NB.
