I think Etidorpha was looking for canning procedures, such as pickling
radishes. That way, she and Gab can enjoy pickled radish sandwiches in the
middle of the bleak winter months. Imagine this bright red interior of a
sandwich made with hearty whole grain bread and a slathering of mayo. What
an explosion of flavours! Eti could also make a fine chutney or perhaps a
"horseradish" spread for use on filet mignon. Maybe even radish jelly.
Don't you think that would taste luscious on a piece of toast on a Sunday
morning with the NY Times and a cupajoe?

Subject: Re: Radishes
Don't need to put them up-
Unless you live in Alaska or inland Maine
Mulch them & Leave 'em in the ground
By the time they get mushy they're coming up again in the
spring.
Sort of like my expectations.
