Dear Loving EChurch family,

Okay, now God has blessed us with 4 SCANACAN sales in 4 days. 3 last week,
and one this week.
Praise The Lord!

Okay, it's cold here not even above 10 degreese. As soon as a little snow
melts when it gets above freezing, we get more snow. lol. and I'm not sure
if the sun is out or not, but I pray that we have sunshine today.

Vernon is building me a new island for our kitchen that is now very loving.

We put new under layment on the kitchen hall way, and entry floors after
Thanks Giving. You know that heat duct I fell in! Well, it's history. lol.
We covered the whole up and desided not to use it at all.

Vernon is building drawers today for the island he is building for our
kitchen. We tore out the old one, as it was here when we moved in, and we
hated it because it was not practical. The shelves in it were narrow at one
end, and got a little wider, but not very wide.

After we were without power, and not able to cook for 1 day about 3 weeks
ago, we desided to put in our gas stove we had in Manchester, just
temporarily until we get the island finished, and then it will go in the
island permenantly.

Before we did all this, we completely refinished our wood floors with new
under layment and vinyl flooring. It was quite a job but we finished it
after ThanksGiving.

This island is in 4 cabinets, with drawers in the top of each cabinet, and
a sliding shelf down below the drawers in each cabinet, and they will all
be put together, and then Vernon will build the top for it because we don't
want a seam in the top. He will make it out of 2 3/4 inch sheets of ply
wood stacked together, and then there will be an oak peace around the edge,
and it will all be laminated with furrmycka on the top and the edges will
be routed out neatly to match the other cabinets in the kitchen.

I know we probably won't get it done for Christmas, but that's a super nice
Christmas present.

Then, when we get the island done, we'll build cupboards all around above
the island and a hood will go above the stove and cupboards above that.
There will be a small sink in the island.

Now, let me know if you can picture all this. <grin> lol.

Please pray that this all goes well, and that we will get most of it done
before Christmas.

Today, we ordered Vernon a dust collector. How many of you know what that
is? <grin> lol. He'll use it in the wood shop and attach all his big
machines to it for collecting all the dust and sawdust from all the
cutting, routing and sanding. He had one in Manchester, but well, you know
what happen to that. Now, you can take up a collection if you want to pay
for this dust collector. <grin> lol.

This dust collector has 4 bags in it, and a 3 horse motor. Please pray that
it is here before Christmas. It will be delivered by modor freight. Okay, I
bet you can't guess how much he paid for this! I'll tell you this. It's
over $600.00 with the few accessories he ordered and the freight and
shipping charges.

He put it on an American Express credit card that has to be paid off in 30
days. I'm really happy about that. <smile>

Please pray that this is exactly what Vernon needs. The cost doesn't end
here, as he has to buy all the pipe to attach to all the walls to hook up
the machinery to the dust collector system, when he needs to use it.

Please pray that I find the attachments to my little mixer with a lot of
power, that I bought from QVC several years ago. It's only been used once. lol.

Thanks to all of you for praying.

Love,
Pat Ferguson
