Pride for Adam as well?
I figure with Adam it was indifference or laziness in that he took no action
when he saw his wife talking to the serpent.  Pride might have come in after
they realized they were naked?
Or, when god called them on what they had done.
Certainly with Adam there because he responded by trying to deflect the
blame to his wife.
It's this woman you gave to be with me.
He was either blaming the woman or god or I guess both really.
Not only was it her fault, but you're the one who brought her here god.
Yes, I guess pride came in on both sides before all was done.
But, as we have said ever since, us men with fingers pointing, she started
it!  hahahahahahahahahah
That's why marriage takes work, you both have to start taking responsibility
for your part in it.
While I'm on this topic of marriage requiring work.
It's interesting how we will see a couple who seems to be doing great and we
envy them.
Gee, if I had their relationship, I could be happy too, but this one of mine
is such work!
Truth is, if that couple truly does have a good marriage, it hasn't happened
by accident, they have worked at it as well.
I can think of two couples, off hand, who we thought really had it going on.
Well, one was a couple we knew and another was a couple my brother knew.
Mine is this cousin and his wife who we are watching struggle just now.
They seemed to have it all together and the business was good, the kids were
their, the wife seemed like a giving, hard working, wonder woman, my cousin
seemed to be a bit of a know it all, but it didn't seem to matter.
Well, as evidence has shown, things weren't that great after all.
This other couple my brother told me about, just didn't argue and they spoke
softly to each other.
It seemed amazing how well they communicated.
Well, as that one turned out, it seems they weren't communicating so well
after all, as the wife came home from work early one day and found her
husband in a sexual act with his best friend, who, by the way, was a man.
Can I hear a collective scream?
hahahahahahhah
I heard the following today.
The saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence?
Well, two things about that.
First is, if the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, it just
means that you haven't been taking proper care of your own grass on your own
side of the fence.
Second, if the grass looks greener on your neighbors side of the fence, it's
only because you can't see the pet poop from your vantage point over there
in your own yard.
