Last night, I went to a restaurant featuring Mexican and Southwestern foods.
I was considering the taco salad, but it was to be served in a bread bowl -
so asked if it could be served with corn chips instead. The server said
"yes", except that I might want to reconsider because the grated cheese had
been dusted with flour so that it wouldn't stick! She said that this was
true for the cheese in almost all their dishes. I had never heard of this
before, but it never occurred to me to ask, either! Just wanted to pass this
alert on to others who might think that cheese is OK. Good to ask....
