Hi my name is Debbie I'm 33 and have been biopsy diagnosed with CD for about
3 years. The diet has worked well for me with no problems until about 2
months ago. I started having lots of gas and bloating and constipation so
the first thing I did was to check and recheck everything in my diet and
toiletries etc. I don't seem to be ingesting gluten and the results of a
recent ultrasound shows that I have gall stones. Has anyone out there had
the laproscopic surgery? This is my first time going back to the hospital
since being GF and I want to make sure to all treatments and meds I get are
Gf.

Also, I've been trying to get my doctor to give me a colonoscopy to
see if my villi have healed. When I was diagnosed they gave me the diet and
had no suggestions for follow up. I have done all my own research. The
doctors feel that if the diet is working then there is no problem. Can
anyone recommend a good GI that deals with CD? I'm in the San Francisco Bay
Area.(Kaiser Permanente)

I know this was kind of long:) I know we aren't medical experts, and
I'm just looking for a little shared experience.

Thank you all so much for your postings and support.
