Dear Listmates,

My family will be staying at The Palms at Wailea condominiums for 1 week starting June 14,2003. We have never been to the Hawaiian Islands and would like some information. 1. Where are the health food stores in Maui that have Gluten-Free items? Any good grocery stores to visit?  2. What restaurants can you recommend that can accomodate the GF diet? 3. We would like to go to a Luau but I'm not familiar enough with the way things are prepared to know what would be potentially full of gluten or what would be a safe Hawaiian food to consume. I could really use some expert advice so that we can have a fun vacation. 4. What gluten-free items should I bring from home? I do plan on packing a lunch for my flight as I'm sure I'll need it.
