Hi Everybody:

Recently I've had a receeding gum problem over one tooth. Dentist
recommends a "sensodyne type" toothpaste product that apparently over time
takes away cold sensitivity, etc.

I read the ingredients on the Crest version and Sensodyne today. Usually
Crest products are gluten free - does anyone know about this one? Both the
Crest and Sensodyne listed pretty safe looking inactive ingredients - but
am wondering about the active ingredient POTASSIUM NITRATE - not so much
whether or not its gluten free (probably is?) but is that a NITRATE like in
bacon and ham?

Hope somebody out there has some information on this! Thanks so much for
your help! - Laurie
