People who DON'T react to charcoal are responding now to say that not everyone reacts, Kingsford or otherwise...and that they've had negative blood tests that show they're not reacting to anything. (Ooh. Too many "that's" in that sentence!!!) 

Some feel the amount of gluten would be insignificant and not enough to worry about.

Some feel that the burning process breaks the molecule and we shouldn't worry about it....like the heat from distillation of alcoholic beverages.

Bottom line....Enjoy the picnic. And thanks for responding.
