I don't know about the beverage, but personally, I would think about the
contamination introduced by the croutons in the salad. My own practice,
when a salad arrives w. croutons desite my request to leave them off, is to
ask for a completely other salad w/out the croutons, explaining that the
problem is on the microscopic level....I have learned my lesson with
respect to breadcrumbs and wheat flour residue, although I would classify
myself as only medium-sensitive.

Perhaps others on this list know about the pop.

Hope you are feeling better now.
