Alfredo,

I'm not sure what kind of information you're interested in having about
Word Press. If you're new and you want to know how to post information,
the instructions that follow may help. I originally posted them to a
translation list.

I'm an Android user and have found that the Android WordPress app is
very accessible. If you're an iOS user, you may check out the app for
that platform so you can use it instead.

Here are my instructions for publishing a new post on the Word Press
website:

It's a good idea to compose in Word or some other text editor, then copy
to the edit fields in Word Press. In earlier versions of Word Press, I
sometimes lost posts when I composed directly in the edit fields; I also
had very little control over formatting and spell checking. In newer
versions, the screen appears to refresh every time I type, so either the
sites crash or Jaws needs to be manually refreshed every few keystrokes.
this applies to any edit field, including the title field, post field,
excerpt field, etc.

For a new post, do the following:

1. compose the post, its title, etc., in a text editor like word.

2. go to your blog. Use heading navigation to find the Meta heading; in
English Jaws, repeatedly type the letter _H. Down-arrow to Login, press
enter,
and log in.

3. Use quick Post or the more detailed interface.

A. If you only have a title and body to post, use your screen reader to
find the Title edit field; in English Jaws, repeatedly type the letter
_E. Press
enter if you need to go into forms mode, and paste the title into the
edit field. Exit forms mode with caps lock+semicolon or with ins+numpad
+. Then use
the screen reader to jumpt to the body edit field, go into forms mode,
paste the body text, and exit forms mode. Use the screen reader to find
the Publish
button; in English Jaws, repeatedly type the letter _B.

B. If you want to publish a post with categories, an excerpt, etc., then
you need to go into the new Post screen. After logging in, use ctrl+home
to move
to the top of the screen; then down-arrow past Posts to Add New, and
press enter. This takes you to the more detailed new post screen. Again,
use the screen
reader to jump to the title edit field, to the body edit field, to the
excerpt edit field, etc., going into forms mode, pasting text, and
exiting forms
mode as you go. To add categories, use heading navigation to find the
Categories heading and down-arrow through your list of categories,
checking the ones
you want. You may need to refresh Jaws manually (Ins+escape) to make
sure something is checked. When you're done, find the Publish button,
which is under
the Publish heading.

Whichever method you use, the publish button has a shortcut. In Firefox,
its shift+alt+p. In Internet Explorer, it used to be alt+P. I haven't
used IE
in a long time, so I don't know if it's changed.

Word Press is overwhelming when you're new to it, but recent versions
organize information around headings, which helps. focus on a few
things. Explore
more as you start feeling comfortable with it.

Ciao
