netMESSENGER
Toronto start-up company netMedia Friday released netMessenger,
a new email software program to be sold and distributed
exclusively on the Internet. netMessenger is positioned as a
direct competitor to the well-known Eudora program.
netMessenger was designed to simplify the email environment. In
addition to a user-friendly interface, the product includes a
free global email-to-fax service as well as a practical
implementation of the new ``push'' technology. netMessenger is
the first email product to use ``push'' technology to create a
practical messaging system, which permits users to create a
customized mix of news, entertainment and business updates.
netMessenger is ``Pushing The Envelope''.
As an introductory offering, users can download netMessenger via
the Internet. A branded version of netMessenger is also
available to ISPs, businesses and educational institutions.
Volume discounts are available.
NetMessenger can be downloaded from
[ http://www.netmessenger.com/download.html ]. After 30 days,
fax and push technology features will disable, still leaving a
fully functional Email-mail program. Features will be restored
upon payment of $24.95 U.S.
