Good evening too all,
I’m very glad that those of you who have the Victor reader stream, are able to use it with success with no problems using it with time Warner cable. Now with all do respect, just because it works well for you, doesn’t necessarily follow that it works as well for others. Please, let’s be mindful that just because it works well for some, it may not work as well for others who use the same service.

Subject: [VICUG-L] An interesting problem that my friends are having with the Victor reader stream, and Time warner cable service.
Good evening everyone,
I have three friends who all have a Victor reader stream, and are having a problem using it through Time Warner cable. It seems that there unable to listen too live radio stations, but are able too listen too Podcasts. When they called time warner about the problem, they sent out A technician who tested the box. He said that all of the setting were fine, and that the signal from the box was working as it should. They are still having the problem, and when they called time warner back, they were told that they would not send anyone out, as they had sent one already. They also said, that it was a problem with the device, and not a problem on there end. They also called Human ware who suggested that they change some settings with in the modem. If time warner refuses too help them resolve there problem, What should they do. We all live in a building where most of the people in it, are blind, or have low vision.
