Hi all,

I am using outlook express. For the second time I am having trouble receiving email attachments from people who said they sent them and they tried a number of times. I never receive any message saying that an attachment was sent, but it was being blocked. The sender does not get a message saying their email was undeliverable. Someone told me to maybe go and change the settings. I went into tools and then options in outlook express. On the security tab it it set on less secure but more functional setting. I trided to do research on the internet and I found information that said to uncheck the box that says do not allow to save or open unsafe attachments. I am afraid to do that because I am just not sure if it is ok to do that and depend on microsoft security essentials to catch any virus coming in or what. I also read where maybe something had to be changed in the antivirus program which is security essentials. If anyone could help me to know what to do I would appreciate it so I could recieve email from my course instructor, friends, etc that are safe. I didn't know if the attachments are too large acording to verizon or what it could be. Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks very much.

Lisa
