Chrome is a Google product; hence, that explains why it suggests you 
switch to it if you are not already using Chrome.
As an analogy, you wouldn't expect going for lunch to McDonalds and the 
gal behind the counter suggesting you go across the street for a Whopper 
at Burger King?
Seriously, it's because Google developed Chrome as to why you are 
receiving suggestions you switch to it.
