HI all,
As you all are aware of, Microsoft has no plans to make windows Phone 7 accessible.
Here's the latest, and this is exciting folks!
Yesterday, I was informed, that the folks at HP, have a tablet out, to compete with the IPad. It's called the slait 500.
Now when I heard this, I thought, "yeah right, and it's probably working with windows phone 7, and it's not accessible."
Well folks, are you ready for this? It runs windows 7 ultimate, not windows phone 7!
So what does this mean? All software that runs on a windows 7 desktop or laptop, will work on this tablet!
Then, I thought to myself, "it probably only lets people touch the screen, or write with one of those pen things!"
I'm glad I was wrong, because folks, you and I can use it, why? Because it has a USB port on it, to connect a keyboard up to it! It also connects with a wireless keyboard!
So, there ya go.
You can use your screen reader of choice on this tablet!!!
So, smart phone makers need to use Windows 7 on their phones.
The tablet also has stereo speakers on it, and a built in microphone on it.
I told Samsung, HP, and Nokia, "you folks make a smart phone that uses Windows 7, and I'd buy it, in a heartbeat! I've got programs that I'd love to use on a Windows 7 smart phone."
So, folks, that's the latest, and this is getting very exciting!
Now, if HP, Samsung, and Nokia would make smart phones that run windows 7, that would be awesome!
Below, I have included the pamphlet about the slait!
take care,
Harry
