Rachael and all:

I would set up your Windows Media player to be the default media player for all file types and then try your link again. To make the WindowsMedia player your default player for all file types:

1. Open Windows Media Player.
2. Press alt+t.
3. Arrow up or down until you reach "Options" and press Enter.
4. Press shift+tab once so your synthesizer says "General".
5. Arrow slowly to the right until your synthersizer says "File Types."
6. Tab down twice until your synthesizer says "Select All".
7. Tab twice again and press enter on OK.
8. Close Windows Media player with alt+F4, go to the website, and try to play the file again. If it still doesn't play and you still get the same message, you may want to see if the file's address ends with .pls or if it is an aac streaming file. Windows Media player will not play either of these file types (there was, at one time, a "fix" that would allow Windows Media player to play aac files, but that fix was withdrawn over legal issues).

problem?  I clicked on the Help button; but nothing that was suggested 
seemed to apply to my situation.  The strange thing is that when I 
downloaded the file, I was able to play it just fine.  I'm using Windows 
7 64-bit and I.E. 8.
