I am on SBC DSL as well & received the same email. I believe it is
legitimate, but if you are concerned about it, contact SBC support by phone.
I don't intend to download it as I am not using SBC's software and I am not
going to install SP2 just yet.

I've just received an e-mail from SBC Yahoo stating customers who are using
Windows XP operating systems need to download a software update to make
their browsers compatible with MS Service Pack 2. The update extension is
.exe which makes me nervous. Could I get your comments on the security of
