<<<< Hi.. Can someone tell me how to completely remove all traces of launchanywhere app? I have a friend that brought his computer to me for service (free of course). Whenever he boots up he gets an error message that launchanywhere.exe cannot be found. I know it is a bad program and when I searched his drive it was not found, so I'm guessing his anti-virus either quarantined or deleted it..now I want to get rid of that error message..how do I do this?..Lots of detail please..thanks Toby Malchow>>>>

Hi,

it would have helped if we knew the o/s but...

assuming win xp "run" msconfig/start up . see if there is any entry ticked for " launchanywhere.exe ". if yes, untick, reboot and the error msg. should not appear.

for removing " all traces" .. i can only suggest a "search" and deletion of all files which appear to be associated.( but you seem to have done this search??)

HTH and good luck---Venkat
