Belarc Advisor.  I have used it since Windows 95.  It lists practically everything on your PC in a webpage format.  You are not online however.  Anyway it lists updates, hardware, software, licenses, keys, and on.

BTW, thanks for the info on backup software.  I need to image mine.

As long as you bring it up, what's the best way to identify what is your computer, software and/or drivers.

Unfortunately, to do a CLEAN install you will lose all of your drivers. You
can try an UPGRADE installation that keeps all your settings and drivers,
but that method does not guarantee that any corruption in your registry gets
fixed. When doing a clean install, what you are really FIXING is the
registry.

I find it helpful to make a list of the programs I have installed, and
possibly a list of the drivers, before I do a clean install. That way I can
go by the list to reinstall all my needed software and configurations. After
a few times it becomes rather easy! Hopefully, however, you don't need to do
this very often.
