Belarc Advisor. I have used it since Windows 95. It lists practically everything on your PC in a webpage format. You are not online however. Anyway it lists updates, hardware, software, licenses, keys, and on. www.belarc.com BTW, thanks for the info on backup software. I need to image mine. As long as you bring it up, what's the best way to identify what is your computer, software and/or drivers. You can try an UPGRADE installation that keeps all your settings and drivers, but that method does not guarantee that any corruption in your registry gets fixed. When doing a clean install, what you are really FIXING is the registry. I find it helpful to make a list of the programs I have installed, and possibly a list of the drivers, before I do a clean install. That way I can go by the list to reinstall all my needed software and configurations. After a few times it becomes rather easy! Hopefully, however, you don't need to do this very often.
