I guess I should not be surprised that ISP tech told you to uninstall
IE5. Trying to uninstall Internet Explorer is asking for trouble. 98lite
does the deed, but as I posted on this list, it is tricky. Also, the
uninstall may leave residues retaining the unwanted files. Repairing IE5
should not help get rid of the unwanted temp files. My suggestion is to
use a program, such as Delcache, www.2haveit.com/delcache, and let
program take care of deleting cache, cookies, and history files.
