The registry key for this HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents. The entry will be in
the "Eventlabels" or "schemes" subkey. This is the English version I'm
looking at. It's really pretty easy to add and remove specific sounds for
applications. For instance, if an app uses the window default sound for a
specific action, you can give the app its own default sound. Take a look at
the entries here. They are pretty straightforward. Always backup your
registry before you delete or add things.

In Control Panel|Sounds, I find listed many times, for many different
functions,
a program which I long since deleted, in all of the "kits" (if I'm
translating
correctly from my Hebrew Windows). Where are these entries stored, and how
do I get rid of them?
