The registry key for this HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents. The entry will be in the "Eventlabels" or "schemes" subkey. This is the English version I'm looking at. It's really pretty easy to add and remove specific sounds for applications. For instance, if an app uses the window default sound for a specific action, you can give the app its own default sound.
