We have been discussing two separate cases:

1. The two fine shadow lines cast by the shadow mask support wires in
Trinitron tubes.  These are fixed, near the top and bottom of the screen.

2. An interfering signal, probably from a TV 8" from the monitor.  In
this case, a 1/2" horizontal band scrolls slowly down the screen.
