I'm hoping someone can help me on this strange matter. I'm trying to find some detail specs on an Adaptec ACS-100 2.0 USB 3.5" hard drive enclosure. Just saw an ad for it at a very good price for this type of device, but when I do a search of Adaptec's site using both the model number and description and even Adaptec's own part number (which I found elsewhere), they give me a zero result. The product doesn't seem to exist on their own site. Moreover, when I do a Google search of vendors, with few exceptions, they all show the product, but with zero stock available. In order to save myself a trip to the store with the ad,(if the specs don't comply with my needs) I tried calling, but typically they couldn't give me any more information than the ad. If any one in this world would know anything about it, it will be someone on this list. Any help to get me out of this twilight zone would be appreciated.
