Hi, just a thought,
have you ever been able to write to a floppy disk on that particular system?
I'm wondering if there may be a setting in the bios which will enable you to
do so?
I'd have a good look through and see if there is.(don't change anything else
if all is working fine)
I'd also make sure your virus definitions are up to date and do a full virus
scan as well, just to be sure.
Hope this helps

I think this is an OS problem. I have Windows98 and
regardless which application I am in, whenever I try
to save to a floppy disk an error message pops up
saying that the disk is write protected. I have tried
several different disks (none of which are write
protected) and the same message pops up. Why is this?!
Thank you,
Andrew Parrella
